Plinking in Heaven
Sad news has just reached me courtesy of Troubled-Diva. Xylophone man is dead.

For those of you who have ever been to Nottingham, you will doubtless have seen him busking away with his xylophone plinking along to whatever ditty took his fancy. His death leaves a gaping whole in the global busking community.

I saw him on Sunday, can't have been long before he passed away.

Comments:
Very sad news, but i take huge consolation from the huge number of tributes left for him. My own personal experience of him was from my very first day in Nottingham before starting University. I was very nervous and felt very lost and away from home, but there was something instantly loveable about a city that had some eccentric fellow bashing away at a xylophone, unrestrained by the concepts of rhthym and melody.

And it's heartwarming to see that many others think the same way. Cynics will tell you the Britain has become a miserable and angry place. Things like this show you that that's clearly a load of old cobblers.

It was a glockenspiel dammit!

*ahem*
