One to rule them all
Over on excellent music blog The Art of Noise you can currently find me defending Radio 1 - quite what from, I wasn't entirely sure when I wrote the defence - although by the looks of it Damo and I appear to have come at the debate from largely the same angle.

Better left untold
I'm currently reading Untold Stories, by Alan Bennett - and excellent book, and well worth taking the time to read.

Anyway, I was struck by the image of the situation in which I found myself on Wednesday appearing as a scene in one of his Talking Heads monologues.

In this instance my head is pictured in a mirror, surrounded by blue LED lights, and looking similar to that of an actor's dressing room. As the character talks, the camera ultimately cuts away to reveal them sat, trousers round ankles, astride a toilet on a train.
